Body Contouring
I’ve been developing Velashape and Refirme for body contouring over the last 9 months.
Velashape was initially developed for the treatment of cellulite - and it’s absolutely fabulous for that.
But this technology has really come into its own as a tool for body contouring.
It became obvious within a short space of time that the dramatic skin tightening effects of Velashape could be used to reshape more than just legs and buttocks. I’ve had incredible results with mummy tummy - the post pregnancy sagging that never seems to shift despite weight loss and excercise.
I’ve also seen great results on muffin tops, lower back fat pads and upper arms.
Refirme - another ELOS device - is proving itself equally effective for jowls, cheeks, eyes and upper lips.

The first video, Anthony Davis, is not too informative, but the rest of the videos give a pretty good idea of how Refirme works, how treatments are conducted and what sort of results we get.
The doctors in the US wear goggles (as do the patients) to comply with local legislation, but this is unnecessary as the IR light is low energy, and safe, so we don’t do that here.
Note the US costs !! $3000 for a course - I offer sessions at £100, a fraction of the price.
As ever, my policy at ShapeCYMRU is to protect privacy and dignity by not publishing clinical photographs, so the results photos you see are from other clinics, but reflect my own; also, my own approach to body contouring and reshaping is not done anywhere else I’m aware of in the UK. Most salons are beautician run and don’t use clinical expertise - and some artistry - to use these amazing tools to their fullest potential.
